About me
The attack led to severe anxiety and regular panic attacks, I felt that I had completely lost control. As time went on I absorbed myself in trying to understand what was happening and how I could go back to the person I was before. I tried various different approaches to tackle my issues including meditation, yoga, mindfulness courses, CBT to name just a few and finally Hypnotherapy where it began to all fall into place for me.
At this point, I had already learnt a fair amount about the science of the mind and was utterly fascinated by the connection between the mind and body and started to think about how I could help others through my own experiences, which led me to find The Clifton Practise and an opportunity to study Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
I am now pleased to say that whilst I am not the same person that boarded that plane to Sri Lanka, I now understand why I suffered that very first panic attack but most importantly I have overcome living in a continuous state of fight or flight mode and am now living my life to the fullest again.
I live in Farnham, Surrey with my partner and our dog Remi. I still love my yoga and meditation, which is now a daily habit, when I am not working or socialising with friends, I spend most of my time reading copious amounts of books or out walking in nature with Remi.
